Description: Enjoy a short hike with a naturalist to explore the local environment Then learn about the amazing raptors that populate Colorado’s Front Range and how we can help conserve them. Observe live raptors up close with a visit from special guest, the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program. Hike is 1-2 miles, easy. Program will meet at the north lot and begin with an easy hike. Raptor program will begin around 9:00 am.
What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. It is generally a little cooler and windy at this site. Bring sunscreen, a hat, closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water.
Accessibility: This program takes place at a covered shelter a short walk from the parking lot. Accessible parking and restrooms are available. There is limited cell phone reception at Soapstone Prairie.
