2024 Birds of Prey Class Series
We’re thrilled to announce that our 2024 Birds of Prey Class Series registration is now open! The classes are taught by RMRP’s Executive Director, Carin Avila, and Education Avian Coordinator, Bonnie Cleaver. Carin Avila’s passion for raptors is unparalleled, having led the Education Department for 14 years and serving as Executive Director since 2018. Bonnie has been a caring volunteer and staff member for over 20 years. These classes present a unique opportunity to delve deeply into raptor identification, natural history, mating and nesting habits, funny factoids, and much more.
Participants are deeply immersed in everything raptor through these three classes featuring our live Educational Ambassador raptors. Our Ambassadors are not releasable due to permanent injury or illness but are outstanding “presenters,” ready to show you their world from the inside out. You will get up close and personal and foster a deep connection with these magnificent creatures.
Grab all three classes at a discounted rate of $300 or select individual sessions priced at $125 each. Classes are being held at the Center for Creativity, 200 Mathews Street, in Old Town Fort Collins.
