Jazmine Fenner, Education & Outreach Associate
A Colorado native, Jazmine grew up in Englewood, Colorado and moved to Fort Collins in 2012 to pursue a Zoology degree from CSU.
Jazmine has always had an interest in working with animals. She was a veterinary technician for 6+ years before becoming staff at the RMRP. After attending a panel in which Mike Tincher talked about the program, Jazmine joined the RMRP as a volunteer in 2015 and became staff in February of 2022. In the beginning of her time as a volunteer she was a “rodent wrangler” and cared for the rat breeder colony and developed a deep love and appreciation for rats. Since then she has moved on to working with all of the educational ambassadors. As staff, she helps to train new ambassadors, as well as the volunteers on many different levels and the day-to-day care of the ambassadors.
In her spare time, Jazmine enjoys reading Sci-fi/fantasy books with her cats and playing video games with her husband.
“My favorite thing about my job is being able to inspire the next generation to care about raptors and wildlife.”
