Winter Wonderland Open House

The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program (RMRP) is thrilled to announce its upcoming Winter Open House scheduled for December 14th, 2024, from 12 pm to 3 pm at our facility located at 720 E. Vine Drive in Fort Collins. Admission is free but donations are appreciated. This exciting event offers a unique opportunity for the community to engage with majestic live Educational Ambassador raptors, witness the behind-the-scenes of raptor rehabilitation, and do your holiday shopping in the RMRP gift shop.

Attendees will have the chance to see RMRP’s captivating Educational Ambassador raptors up close, offering an educational and awe-inspiring experience. These remarkable birds serve as Ambassadors for their species, enlightening visitors about the importance of raptor conservation and the environment.

“We are excited to welcome the community to our Winter Open House. It’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone to engage with our Educational Ambassador raptors, learn about raptor rehabilitation, and support our cause,” expressed Carin Avila, Executive Director at the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program.

Presents for Persephone

Educational Ambassador Persephone, the Turkey Vulture, has been very “nice” and is asking for presents for her and all the raptors at RMRP. By purchasing items from our wish list you can help RMRP to continue our life-saving and life-changing mission. You can send items through the mail or, better yet, come for a visit and bring them to the Open House.
