Why Give?
In Doug Lawson's groundbreaking book, Give To Live, he cites research that shows that donating and volunteering can lead to improved health and emotional well-being. Some of the benefits include:
  • Greater longevity
  • Significant reduction in toxic stress chemicals in the body (therefore less stress)
  • Enhanced functioning of the immune system
  • Improved cardiovascular circulation
  • Healthier sleep
  • Enhanced quality of life
  • Numerous other physical, emotional and spiritual benefits

At RMRP, the distance between your gift and saving lives is very short.

A Nonprofit Organization - The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and exists through the generous financial support of our supporters.

RMRP Rescues 300+ Raptors Annually - The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program rescues and rehabilitates raptors, and releases 70% of treatable cases, those that survive the critical first 72 hours, for A Second Chance At Freedom.

Environmental Education Teaches Stewardship - RMRP also teaches environmental stewardship, a life-changing experience that helps assure that future generations will experience the wonders of wildlife and wild places.

Learning To Protect The Earth - RMRP’s acclaimed environmental education program reaches hundreds of thousands of children and families annually, teaching them to preserve our planet.

In-Kind Support Provides Half Of Our Budget - Volunteers work more than 44,000 hours each to care for the raptors and teach the public at programs and exhibits. About 4 tons of food are donated annually.

Almost All Of Your Gift Goes To Rehabilitation and Education - Nearly 90% of all revenue goes directly toward rehabilitation and environmental education efforts.

You Can Help - We invite you to join with many others who are truly making a difference through their giving.
